We writers infuse sentences with heartfelt, emotive content that evokes a visceral response in the reading public—something AI cannot achieve, as it does not have a beating heart.
We have already reduced our communications to acronyms and emojis, thus eliminating the power of artfully crafted expression. We have become so immersed in expediency that we have all but obliterated the humanism that makes writing so meaningful. Only through the human experience can we establish lasting connections, create impactful metaphors and syllogisms, communicate nuance, and fashion cogent plots and stories. Sanitized words, however pristine and grammatically sound, lack the pathos, humor, and subtleties that make us exquisitely human.
